FUYUKICITY
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AT THE EYE OF A CRISIS. Fuyuki is a moderately-sized city located in Japan, known for it's generally warm climate even during winter. It snows, but the cold is not as bad as it is in other nearby locations, which is why it has become Fuyuki's main selling point in tourism. Only a few forgeigners come from time to time, though - sixty years ago, a terrible fire in Fuyuki City's central park overwhelmed a good part of the city, killing hundreds of people. They are still recuperating today.
Fuyuki City is divided into two portions, each located on different sides of the river that flows in the middle of it. There is Miyamacho, the residential area, and Shinto, the commercial area. The two areas are then connected by a single bridge. It faces the sea, and thus it has it's own harbor. There is also a huge amount of forestry surrounding the city - a perfect secret location for those who do not want to be found.

The Holy Grail is a holy artifact long sought-after by both the church and the magi. For the former, it is because of its relation to Jesus Christ. For the latter, it is because of the great powers it possesses. It is said that those who receive the Grail may have their greatest wish come true. The Holy Grail materializes in multiple locations – one of them appears every sixty years in Fuyuki City. This specific Holy Grail War is called HEAVEN’S FEEL. The mechanics are simple – the Holy Grail chooses seven candidates that may have their chance of winning the Grail. These seven must summon seven Heroic Spirits called Servants in order to represent them in battle. These Servants must fight each other to the death – the last pair standing shall win the Grail. Observing the event is a judge sent by the Church, making sure that the rule of secrecy is not broken, as well as providing sanctuary to those who drop out from the war. In truth, the Holy Grail in Fuyuki City is not the true Grail, but only the Church and the Einzberns are aware of this fact. Regardless, the Church still moderates what occurs in the war, making sure that the Grail does not land in undeserving hands. It has been three hundred years since the first appearance of Heaven’s Feel. And yet, no one has ever managed to win the Grail.
[/b][/font] – The Einzbern family requests the assistance of the Tohsaka and the Makiri (now Matou) families in order to summon the Holy Grail. They succeed, but the Grail may only answer one wish, turning the two families against each other. The war ends prematurely. HEAVEN’S FEEL II – The Holy Grail reappears, choosing seven candidates instead of three. However, three of the representatives are always chosen from the original three families. Once again, the war ends prematurely. HEAVEN’S FEEL III – A new class, Avenger, is introduced. It replaces the Berserker class in this round, and is the first instance of an Anti-Hero appearing in the war. Avenger is defeated early, but his presence corrupts the Grail. HEAVEN’S FEEL IV (FATE/ZERO) - An Anti-Hero is once again summoned. The possibility of multiple Masters controlling one Heroic Spirit is also introduced. The war ends with the destruction of this instance of the Grail. On the finale of the war, a terrible disaster occurred in Fuyuki City, killing hundreds of people. Only a boy survived.
